As of 2016 I've had no treatment and I am not able to afford medical care. I have osteoporosis, RA and degeneration in both knees. I had ACL reconstruction in my left knee 15 years ago and I am now a candidate for knew knees but I cannot afford them or to be out of work for that long of a time period. I have done the rooster protein injections(Uflexa) on and off every 6 months for 3 years now. They definitely made a difference but I haven't had them since middle of 2015. My knees burn every day and the more I have to sit and the longer I sit, the harder it is for me to walk. Some days of coarse are worse then others but I try to remain mindful of how much worse I could be.
