The cortisone shot helped mildly for any where from 2 weeks to 6 months. The later being the first of shots. I use Oxycodone for pain. Covers the pain as long as I don't use that joint. I've used a Brace ,Swimming ,massage, therapy nothing has worked to help the knee heal only cover up the pain for a while.
