I reinjured my back after 9 years, my first injury I was shocked by my patients implanted defibrillator device while working in cardiac ICU, at that time I fractured a disc in my back... had surgery which was the biggest mistake and didn't help. Evidently my body did heal itself I was down for about 2-3 years but did fine until about a month ago when I started having left leg pain 'sciatica' possible from dance aerobics classes and the pain has been horrible and I could only walk 5-10 feet before having excruciating leg pain.... I have never had back pain per se just the sciatica 'left leg', both feet are numb from evidentially nerve damage then also developed bursitis in the process. I had oped for prednisone pills which help for a little while and I also notice both feet would swell 2-3 days after I quit the dose packs which I don't understand... finally broke down and took narcotics which I dread because I know the depression they caused me before when I first got hurt... It's been about a month and a half and I'm moving better and standing longer without pain, hoping the inflammation is going down by taking the Nsaids 'non steroid antiinflammatory drugs' I also take 'Cat's Claw, and Turmeric capsules I make with black pepper which makes the Turmeric like 10x more potent and I'm really into more natural means of reducing inflammation.
