I've had no specific injury that i know of, however it is just worn out. No cartlidge -bone on bone. The ice, pain pills, cortisone injections took care of it only temporary. I did a series of injections that was suppose to te-mousturize the cartlidge and have it puff up like a sponge, also regrowth would take place. I noticed no change what so ever. The only thing I've not tried is surgery.
