I was walking down a flight of stairs and I felt something snap in my left knee. I had a MRI that showed fraying and tears of the lateral meniscus. I saw a orthopedic doctor who gave me a cortisone injection and that provided minimal relief. The Ortho doctor did not feel it was a surgical issue but rather recommended weight loss which I have lost 20 pounds with no relief.
