Initial pain & diminished function commenced over 15 yrs ago.... my friend was using Glucosamine/ Chondroitin.with relief. I used it faithfully every day for over 15 yrs. Eben stopped doage for 3 months as a test, but the pain & disfunctiin returned quickly, so restarted this protocol. 2 months ago, with no "incident" or injury, the pain & disfunction returned with a vengence !! Consulted with Orthopedic Knee Surgeon. Was recommend to start treament with Cortizone to relieve pain & also inflamation... Results were considerable, but very temporary . This was followed, then with injections of Synvisc. 3 injections, each 1 week apart Relief of pain & improvement in function lasted about 2 weeks. Have now restarted a regimen of cortisone injections. Also, have a RX to start a physical therapy & strengthening regime. Age 75.
