October 2013 I had R knee surgery for meniscus tears (4) and arthritis. Recovered well from the surgery, but 4 months later pain started and has progressed to the severity where my BP raises to 168/110 at times. I'm a tough cookie, but this pain, at times, makes me feel sick. I have seen my surgeon now twice, and sought another opinion as I was told there was nothing to do for the pain and not being able to bend my leg or walk once the pain starts and lasts all day into the next. Ice is the only thing I've found to relieve this sickening pain. Had PT for many months...copper brace, NSAID's, ice, etc. The pain gets so bad, if I'm walking I cannot bend my leg at all and struggle to get where I'm going. I am in my 5th year of remission with Breast cancer, which has been a cake-walk compared to this... I keep searching for relief - and tonight will try my "tens" on it to see if it helps...
