Anonymous Knee Pain
This is my 4th ACL tear in 25 years, all have been in adulthood. After this recent one it was suggested I have further evaluation for a connective tissue disorder. It turns out I have a disorder which significantly reduced the chances of any ACL surgery every working. As a result of the surgeries, I have developed severe osteoarthritis. I am in a brace and suffer from horrible knee pain. I have done visco supplements, and a genicular nerve block. I am currently in a physical therapy program and pursuing a knee replacement.
