Currently undergoing treatment for peroneal tendinosis. Had a PRP injection one week ago, but haven't seen improvement yet. Did about 6 weeks of physical therapy previously with very mixed results. At times it seemed to help, but at other times it seemed to dramatically and acutely increase my pain. It's been one step forward and two steps back ever since, progressing from walking comfortably, to a brace, to a boot, to crutches. Now I cannot bear any weight beyond 30 seconds. Hoping PRP and the next round of physical therapy show results, otherwise I'll be considering surgery.

Ankle hurts for first half mile during a walk, and in certain yoga and tai chi poses. It also hurts when I carry heavy objects. Upon getting out of bed, the ankle hurts.

Very long time chronic problem due to hereditary connective tissue disorder. Wish i had never had surgery. During a current flare, the MOST helpful thing i have ever tried is the Bauerfeind ankle support.
